Vivienne studied at Camberwell college of Art in the 1970's in ceramics and silversmithing, with drawing a strong influence throughout the course. Silversmithing was a subsidiary subject which she pursued after the degree for 1 year post graduate course, also at Camberwell. Vivienne has been a practising potter/artist- eversinu, compining part time teaching at colleges with work in her own studio and exhibitions.
Her love of food and pottery has led her to produce an individual range of tableware suitable for cooking, serving and storing food in. Pots are thrown on the wheel or slab built and glazed.
As a response to Vivienne's love of life drawing, she makes expressive figurative sculptures, glazed it turquoise and bronze using the 'Raku' firing technique. Also one off pieces of beautiful ceramic jewellery glazed in a similar manner.
She regularly runs a varied selection of workshops at her studio in Barnet, suitable for all levels. Experienced or beginners, individual or small groups. Also courses in ceramics and drawing and is an artist member of several art societies including The Barnet Guild of Artists; London Potters; Dacorum & Chilten Potters Guild,
