Born in South Africa, and has lived in London since 1977. Started making  pottery in South Africa mainly  to showcase Ikebana flower arranging.

In the late 1980’s attended Camden Arts Centre, and studied under Mo Abdullah. Due to pressure of work gave up pottery for about 10 years and on retirement started studying at Holmes Road, Kentish Town.

Now working at the Arts Institute in East Finchley
